Youth

All students’ grades 7th to 12th grade are invited to element youth, we meet up stairs in the youth room and, in the children’s main teaching room. Element youth meets Thursday night; Jr. high meets 5:30pm-7pm, and high school from 6:30pm-8pm. These specific times are so each group can have the time needed with their peers. The 30 min overlap creates a time where all youth are together in the hopes of building unity.

Those involved in Element youth like having a good time, hanging out, eating food; which we do every third Thursday of the month free of charge because it’s biblical to enjoy the company of those around you! We have a lots of games for students to play, like Xbox kinetic, rock band, ping pong, pool, a snack bar, and plenty of areas to just sit and talk with friends, we have created a space for youth that is just theirs, where they can reek havoc, learn, and just be students!  But more important than just having a fun time, we are passionate about helping students grow in their relationship with God, and, relationships with each other. We do our best to connect with students at their specific life stages by we make the messages relevant to student’s lives, being engaged in their life out side of church, and getting students into D-groups (youth GC’s) to encourage students to live life on mission at their schools!

Element youth group does not just exist just so that students have something to entertain them on Thursday night, or any other night that we have events. We exist so that we can praise God and bring him glory, we exist to teach and grow students in their relationship with God, and push them towards maturity, of course we have a lot fun on the way!
