Good Samaritan Shelter

Good Samaritan Services provides the community with many programs addressing homelessness as well as alcohol and substance abuse. We are continually expanding our services to better assist those in need in our community.
Interest Area: Employment Assistance, Shelter (Emergency, Family), Children's Services, Drug & Alcohol treatement, Housing Assistance, Programs for pregnant & parenting women, medical and mental health screening, training, counseling, clothing, food.

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is a Non-profit charitable organization providing financial emergency assistance, emergency food and meals, and assistance providing Christmas gifts to underprivileged children.

The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County

The Foodbank, through our warehouses in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria, receives and distributes almost 5 million pounds of food annually and partners with 200 non-profit organizations between Morro Bay and Carpinteria to feed almost 100,000 needy people every year. Volunteers provide over 15,000 hours of service helping to inspect, sort, organize and distribute most of the food recieved by the Foodbank.
